This month was HUGE for you. A week before you turned 6 months you discovered rolling. Now you have rolled many times before but not knowingly. But one day you really wanted a toy and you really rolled, and then you just kept going and going and going. There was never a moment of just rolling once....I set you in one place and when I turn around you are in another.

I haven't really worked on sitting with you, until one day I thought we might see where you were with the whole balance thing. Low and behold you could sit for at least a minute. Luckily for you, you always have a fan club waiting to help you if you fall. Now you sit all the time. You are one tough little man with all those big brothers and sister who like to tote you around.

You are a very happy little fellow. No one has to see your mouth to see whether you are smiling or not, those eyes just sparkle and crinkle across a room. The Doctor put you on reflux medicine at 4 months and it made all the difference to you. You still spit up like crazy but it doesn't bother you much anymore.

You say dada and very occasionally do you say mama. ( I don't think you know what you are saying)

You know your name well and turn to whoever is calling to you. You still love me ALOT! Amazingly enough you just caught your first cold....you lasted a lot longer than I thought you would with all the love that everyone gives you.

We all still think you are the best thing around and we all run to your room when we hear you are awake! We love you baby boy.

Happy 6 months....

Play Date

I am flying out to Northern Cali in a couple of hours so Brig and Sully can have a play date.....

Finally Halloween

We are going to start off this Halloween post with Friday the school parade!

Here you have Abe our old man.

He had decided on this costume months ago.

The DI is a fantastic place to find some great costume items....like white shoes.

But that jacket/sweater is mine.

Wore it in 10th grade.

Tucker also decided on his costume months ago.

Who doesn't like a little hippie action?

His jacket is also mine....J Crew a few years back, like maybe 17 years back.

Sully was just really wishing he was at home sleeping.

Then we come to the Indian Princess.

My mom was so sweet to make Gwyn this costume.

Is it just me? Isn't this costume AMAZING!

Very authentic....Gwyn told me she felt "so beautiful" in this.

My dear daughter is what I like to call a "poser".

What can I say, she can work a camera.

Those are all her own poses.

Then we come to the Indian Princesses Noble Steed.

Doesn't he look noble?

Gwyn is in afternoon kindergarten and so they had their very own parade.

This is her cute class lined up to go into school.

Friday night we carved pumpkins....

Scully hung out in his swing and watched the festivies.

Can you guess which one is Gwyn's?
Yep the eye lashes gave it away right?

Or was it the molar that she and the pumpkin are both getting?

Of course Tuck's is puking.

Abe went with words this year.

He and Tucker carved theirs all by themselves.

Gils is the very scary pumpkin:)

Thanks to Grandpa and Grandy for the pumpkins...it's always fun to raid their garden.

Every Halloween my neighbor and I throw a HUGE party for all the neighbors and kids.

We have a bounce house, a huge slide, and a cotton candy machine.

It makes for a FUN day before we head off trick-or treating.

Here are our munchkins all dressed up and ready to go.

Gwyn wanted to be something that would include the love of her life, Sullivan.

So we have the Indian Princess with her bear cub, and her trusty steed Gilbert.

My cute boys who are just buddies.

Being an old man was SO fun for Abe....he could have dressed up like that all week.

Turns out this is the only picture I got of little Sully.

He is delicious by the way.

Peace Man....

Poor Tuck was actually really sick on Halloween.

He missed the whole party and barely made it trick-or-treating.

Here is the whole gang.

Most of these kids have gone trick-or-treating with eachother for the last 6 years.

I have a picture like this from every year.

It freaks me out how much they have grown.

All in all it was a spooktacular Halloween!

Happy to see it go and my kids can't wait to see it come back.

Eleven

How on earth did he go from this......

to this..... so stinkin' fast?

He was the most delightful, happiest and most busy baby.

That has turned into the most delightful, happiest and busy young man.

Tuck, your feet are bigger than mine, you read more than anyone person should ever read. You retain knowledge like you read it five minutes ago. You ALWAYS know what is right and almost always do it. There is not one adult that knows you that doesn't stop to tells us what a fine young man you are.

To know you is to love you.

We are so proud of you. We think you are devilishly handsome in an eleven year old way, athletic, and super smart. You are one of my best friends and you I enjoy you to no end. I hope you will always be as kind as you are now. You are a wonderful brother and friend. You are a shining example.

Yes, we did laugh really hard and loud when we read this.

4 months old...

Wow....4 months already.
Sully is our little love.

Not our easiest baby.

But when he is happy....he lights up this house.

His love affair with his hands is HUGE!

I don't think any of our other children have loved their hands so much....

Then again, my memory isn't what is use to be.

I want to touch and kiss that dimple in his chin just looking at this picture.

He can get really mad in just a matter of seconds.....

Is it wrong I think that crying face is so cute?

See that drool?

That happens a lot.

My first born drooled a lot too....he ALWAYS wore a bib.

Sull's well, he's my fifth.

Mostly he is always a little damp.

When people see Sully they always ask, "which one of your kids does he look like?"

I don't know.....Who do you think?

Truly, I want to know.

It's usually quickly followed by a, "he has a different look than your other kids"

To this I agree.

He still scrunches up when I get him up.....sigh.

I'll hate when that goes away.

Waking up to him every morning is like Christmas for me.
