While on one of our many phone calls Kennan I decided that we would make Gwyn a Barbie cake for her birthday. Kennan had the pan and the instructions. So this is how it turned out. The pictures are of Grandy frosting the cake. Kennan was also working on it but she took the pictures for me.
Isn't she lovely, Sarah used her pants to make her a lovely jacket.

Gwyn loves our cute little neighbor Geena. Geena brought her a doll that sings BINGO....it was probably her favorite present. Geena's mom Jen is the greatest friend, neighbor, and surrogate family you could ask for. They also got her a great Dora trike that she is working on pedaling. We love our New Yorkers!!!
Aunt Sarah was here with papa Lyle and Grandy. She will play with Gwyn for hours. While I was getting her ready today she told me," I like Aunt Sawah."
Jude and Gwyn hanging out in the pool for her birthday party. At one point there was a yelling match through the play house door. They are funny together. We just think that little dude is great. After Gwyn put her crown on while opening presents she yells " Jude, Look at me". Who knows why he would care about a girl crown, but she need him to see her. 
That is my beautiful seester and her hubby Trevan. They came down for a visit and let's face it to help Gwynnie turn TWO.

For Gwyn's Birthday she got her little cottage playhouse! It arrived a few days early so she and Judakins enjoyed it this weekend.

Abe officially graduated from Mrs. YBright's Kindergarten class this week.
Abe was the Valedictorian for his class:) Not really, but he did great on his speaking part. 
Abe loves Mrs. YBright. On the last day of school, he seemed fine to be moving on to Mrs. Feltwells 1st grade class. But Thursday night as we were settling down to bed and reading some Harry Potter together, Abe began to cry. As I was hugging him he told me that he was really going to miss his teacher. He said " I love her so much and she is the best teacher ever." That got Tucker emotional about his teacher and pretty soon after that I was crying with them too. Once we settled down Abe asked if I would write her name down on a piece of paper for him, I thought that he wanted to write her a letter, but he said he just never wanted to forget her. I reminded him that I had taken this picture, and he asked if I could print it up and hang it in his room. So, we now have a 8x10 picture in his room of he and Mrs. YBright.
Abe and Kyrstin....buddies, next door neighbors, and next year they will be in the same 1st grade class. WE love our little Kyrstin.

Gwynnie having a bite to eat! My mom brought her theses wings while staying the night on her way to Phoenix. She loves them...Aunt Amy was right, she and her cousin Ella could have a great time together with their wings.

The boys have been working on sleeping in their own beds all night for a few months. I think since the day Tucker was born he has tried to sleep in our bed every night. We have tried a mattress by our bed, Floor bed, taking him back to his bed and so on. You name it and we have tried it. It is hard to get really upset with him since Uncle Tim's death did a number on him...thanks Tim. He is 65 pounds and nearly five feet tall, it was time. Abe has decided that since Tucker wasn't in bed that maybe he shouldn't be either , so we decided that if they could do it that they could have a Wii.
So after months of trying really hard, on mothers day they got to have a treasure hunt that ended with a Wii.

Hello coolie!
Abe is in morning Kindergarten so he has the whole afternoon to try and entertain himself. Today while he was at school Gwyn, Gil and I headed to Target and bought a pool and a new sprinkler. (Last years sprinkler met its match while in some water fight with the neighbor kids.)Abe and Gwyn were really cute together today.

We let Gil have a bit of a try with the pool. Abe really wanted to play in the pool with Gil, so we gave it a try. Pretty much Gil didn't like it so much. We missed T-Dog but he was busy at School. We can't wait for school to be out!
