There is just something about 20 years of knowing someone........

Stephy J!!! My friends from Childhood still try to get together once a year around Christmas. Steph just had her fourth baby and was looking great and giggling like she always has.....Her laughter is contagious!
Ally hosted this gig. She is my anchor! I love her and also think she looks great. She is definitely voted most changed from school days. She happily pulled out her old photo Album to show us some treasures of pictures.
Annie.....I love getting together with her. She left the White House after 7 years and a huge position just before Christmas. She has amazing stories and has visited 40 different countries. I don't know where to begin on how much happiness it brings me to see her and hear her stories. If you know any great single guys let me know...she is a catch.
This picture shows the ladies giggling over the old pictures. Mandy is on the right.....she wasn't in our original group of friends but we will claim her. She is so fun and it was awesome to see her again, was she always that funny?
Here we all are...we are missing a few friends and they were really missed but it is always nice to get some of us together. I didn't have a great close up of Holly but I love to see her and she is always great about trying to pull these things together....she is the glue. She of course is our California Babe who runs on the beach everyday while saving the day with her social work. I have to say I think I have some of the greatest friends ever. Once again, there never seems to be enough time to catch up on everything.

Christmas Break....

I am not going to lie that I was not so excited to be taking yet another trip up to SLC again, but it was worth it to see Minnesota cousins. We spent a lot of time at Bob's parents house and the kids had a great time. This picture is of Gil who climbed up onto Grandy's Ottoman, then onto a tray!
This is cute Ella, who is very nice and who my daughter bit really hard while playing with her!!!(gasp) She has never done this before but she decided to try it out on Ella. You think the Gypsy's might take her for awhile?
Can't you just see trouble written all over her? After we left, my mom told me Gwyn was like three children in one. Yeah, she is a spitfire. In all reality though she is so dang funny, and she knows it. She had some great lines this little Christmas Break.
Here is Milly who was so kind to share all of her toys with the visiting cousins.
Mr. Caleb has grown so much. He seems to be a very mellow little man.

This picture was taken the night before we headed up North. Gwyn would not go to bed until I took a picture of her "darling baby".
Brooke, Minie, and myself.....Kennan trying out my new camera.
Granny Billie came for a visit and we snapped this picture of her with a bunch of her great grand-kids.
When we woke up Friday morning this is what we found....The boys had found Grandpa Mike's stash of Christmas Pistachios.

After eating enough they thought that it would be great to make a picture out of the shells! Of course, Abe woke me up to get me to take the picture.
The boys went Snowboarding with the Dorny's and had a good time. I just hung out, and it was really nice. My mom and I watched a movie during the day on Saturday while babies napped. We went to the Movies one night(P.S. I Love You...loved it!)Thank you to my cousin Chris who stayed at the house so we could go. We played some mean games of Clue a couple of nights with all the Lamoreaux's. My mom and Dad watched the kids so I could go to a friend party.....It just all goes so quickly. I am really bugged that the kids have to go back to school Jan 2! What happened to longer Christmas breaks? I am not ready to send my boys back to School.

wEirD SCiEnCE

Abe got a Goo-Maker for Christmas from Nanny, and all the boys enjoyed this immensely.
Daddy got it all set up and then walked over to his ipod and said "we can't start until we have the right music" Oingo Boingo's Weird Science starts playing and the boys......
start dancing
Even Gil was feeling it!

Christmas Morning!!!!!!

Santa Snapped a picture with my new camera before he left!!!!
Those are some lucky kids!
I am pretty sure that Tucker only got about 2 hours of sleep last night. He was in and out of our room all night. At one point he brought in part of his filling that fell out doing heavens know what in the middle of the night? We actually woke up about 7:30 am....pretty good for us.
Gwyn and Gil got a new horse! Gwyn rode her with no problem.

Gil.....well he struggled a bit.
Abe FINALLY got his DS. That is a happy boy.
Tuck got his LONG awaited Super Mario Galaxy Game for the Wii.
Gilbert's favorite presents were the candy canes from his stocking.
Oh, the happiness a Mario toothbrush brings.

Nanny gave Gil his very own police car, now he can keep up with his sisters pink car.
Gwyn had to try on her lovely new dress-ups right away....it said on the box ages 3-7, doesn't there seem to be a big difference between 3 and 7? Thus explaining the largeness of the dress-up. Oh yeah, the fan was broken in two hours.
Possibly Gwyn's favorite present came from her brother Gil.....an old fashion jewelry box. She is obsessed with it. I am just happy the ballerina is still twirling when you open it.
Santa: What would you like for Christmas? Gwyn (or Violet as her dad calls her when her hair is down): Babies!
Hello little Bob:)

Christmas Eve

So here is our dinner set up.....our traditional Cornish hens and Christmas salad. Mmmmm...makes me hungry just thinking about it.
Bob totally surprised me Christmas Eve with my new camera!!!!!!YEAH!!!!! He told me that I should have it to take pictures Christmas morning. (expect better pictures)
I let Gwyn open Nanny's present Christmas Eve. She was crazy excited about her new Bitty Baby. She was asleep with her baby Rose, for about an hour when she woke up crying. When I went into her room she was upset because her "baby had become unwrapped." Then she looked at me and said "She's just sooo cute mom."
Gil and Gwyn in their Christmas P.J.'s
All four of my sugar babies in their Christmas Jammie's, listening to the Christmas story.

Christmas Project......

I made a few little Christmas memories books for my brother's family and a few friends who are not Scrap-Bookee. I am am not really into the scrapbook/Stampin' up thing so this is as good as it gets for me. During Christmas it just doesn't feel like Christmas until I actually do something with my hands...so there you are!

Soldier Abe......

Abe's entire first grade put on a Christmas play. It was so cute. Abe was a soldier and he took his one line very very seriously. He was the cutest soldier there and I could eat him up.
He was showing us some of his "soldier" stances.

Abe and Kyrstin.....she was a Doll. Abe informed me that I should watch her too because she came on right after him. This play inspired Abe to come right home and start on righting his own play. He had parts for all of his friends. I love Abe, always the creative one.

Gingerbread House

So here was our annual Gingerbread house decorating night! Gwyn kept tasting the frosting/glue and shuddering, yet kept going back for more.

Abe watching dad build the house....we needed an Engineer.
A little decorating.....Gwyn and Abe had just gotten some winter hats from their friends......
The night before her surgery.

The finished product. I love that the kids are so proud and Gil just wants to get his hands on the candy.
