Abraham Brad

Abraham
(courtsey of Stacia Shaw photography)
Abraham Brad Lamoreaux was born April 5, 2001 at 4 am. He was a very easy going baby boy and he had arrived only 17 months to the day after his brother Tucker. These are few pictures of our little man through out his first year.
Abe at age One.
Here are some more of the "Fat Man". The nick name as harsh as it sounds just stuck. He loved it! It later lead to his obsession of Batman and Superman. He thought that Batman was Actually Fatman. I guess it's not hard to tell why he had the nick name. It's funny everyone until about a year ago would tell me how big he was and what a big boy he was going to be. I truly thought so too. He has been my biggest baby and stayed quite solid for years...But about a year ago he thinned out and now he is pretty thin. So much for his nickname.
Abe at two....I want to grab him out of this picture and smoosh him.
I think that forever in my memory that this is how I will think of my boy. He LOVES Superheroes. You would never see Abe without his cape on and he would tell everyone "Me Batman" When we first moved to SG our neighbors had just moved in too. Abe turned 3 when we had been in our new house 2 days. One night when we thought the boys were in bed Bob went outside to find Abe had escaped and was in his Superman PJ's and and and this Superman Cape riding his Spider man scooter. The neighbors were out and were keeping an eye on him wondering if we had any idea he was out, we didn't know each other well enough then to tell each others kids to go back inside. He started the trend in the neighborhood with having a sword down the back of his shirt so he could ride his bike and have his hand free at anytime, you always need a sword right? One of the older neighbors asked Bob why Abe did this, Bob responded "the better question is why don't you do this?"

My handsome boy is now 6 years old!! He was a grumpy baby because he had such terrible respiratory problems. He didn't walk until he was 161/2 months old and he didn't talk until he was 2 1/2 years. Abe has always done things on his own time. He is so clever, he gets all the jokes and he can remember any song he hears and can repeat it at will always amazing me. He loves little "guys" that can be carried around in his pocket and has for as long as I can remember. He fights me on almost everything; for example the striped shorts I bought him for his birthday. He has so many friends and loves to play with them, he is just cool. ( At least 4 friends a day come over to see if he can play.) He loves hot Chocolate and his silky blanket. Abe loves babies...he adores Gilbert. I am so blessed to have kids who play together for the most part really really well. Abe still like to show me he loves me. He still snuggles me and gives me kiss freely. Abe has been a huge blessing in my life I love him lots...my Sugar Baby. Thanks for 6 wonderful years.

Oh Boys

I think we will always have an over powering amount of boys!!
Gil and Monson
Abee Baby, Sugar Baby
Taft aka Goose
Gilly Bear with Uncle Jeff
Oh my, what does my little girl have to look forward too:>

Happy Birthday to the April Fool!

The Mitchell's came to stay at their home in Coral Canyon this weekend. We were so happy to have them here for Bob's Birthday. We LOVE hanging with the Mitchell's. Kate left uncle Bob a lovely message.
Birthday cake time. Gwyn needed to help blow out candles too.
Gwynnie loved the Cake . This is great cake, thanks mom for the great recipe.
Amelia was ready for a little cake time too.
Crazy uncle Jeff trying to get a giggle out of Monson.
The birthday boy!
Kate, Hunter, Tucker, Abe and Taft, had a great water fight with themselves and a few of the other neighbor kids....maybe not the most appropriate Sunday activity....but what can you do?
Gwyn loves Mills...or Mols as Gwyn calls her.
Tucker took the brunt of the water fight. He was a little wet.

34 Years!!!

This is a tribute to my favorite person in the world! Today my love had his birthday. I am so grateful to have gotten to share 9 of those with him. This first group of pictures is of Bobby as a baby and a toddler. (Okay, first of all, I am totally computer illiterate, so my scanning in pictures looks very very amature.) I love to see him these years because I see so much of our children in him. Especially Gwynnie and Tucker.
My sisters and I giggle every time we see this picture of him at that ninth grade night dance. It's okay to laugh...he does. The one of him in the BYU hat is him receiving a birthday cake from some girl on his birthday in High School.
Bobby the baseball player. He had one like this for football and basketball. He was a total "jock" and in high school I would have nothing to do with him. He tells me that in my dresses and cloaks he wouldn't have talked to me to much either.
Mission pictures of Elder Lamoreaux! Some of you might recognize these fellows he is with. Oh yeah, this is when Bobby became Bob. He's hot! I totally would have been one of the member girls trying to get him to write me. You know that type of girl....to bad I was only 14 years old at the time.
These are the years of courtship and marriage....did I say years I meant year. On his 25th birthday his friends threw a huge party at their house for him. His old girl friend came and I was pretty proud to be pretty much engaged to him. I also remember our first fight the next day when he told me she looked really good the night before:)

Here are more recent pictures of Bob and our kids. They are crazy about him. I am crazy about him. I am pretty sure anyone who knows Bob loves him. I am really glad he picked me. So, I guess what I am saying is that the world became a much better place when Bob was born. Happy Birthday Babe!

Brad and Vanessa

Brad, Vanessa, and Gabi came to visit this weekend (finally). We had a really fun time with them. They were good sports about running around with us on errands that needed to be done. We also had a great evening of stick ball and bar-b-cue with our awesome neighbors. Bob and I are the Ward Activity Directors so on Friday we had our big spring party. It was very busy but I think it was a huge success. Glad to have that under our belts. So thanks Brad and Vanessa for coming and hanging with us in our not so clean house and our tired selves.
Meine Bruder! I love him. I forget how much I like him and how much fun we have together until we get together and hang out. He is the sibling I grew up with and I tagged along with his friends and thought he was the coolest. He had a band and I was his ultimate groupie. I dated or crushed on many of his friends and he was always so good to me. We never fought except when I had to wake him up in the morning. I was fifteen and he was almost eighteen he did not care if he was late to class but I did! I love him and hope my boys will be as good a big brother as Brad has always been.
Beautiful Vanessa....The Brazilian Beauty.
Gwyn and Gabi love each other. Gabi would try to be able to see Gwynnie where ever she was and Gwyn hated to be away from Gabi. This was a stolen moment outside with Gwynnie making that clever little Gabi giggle.

ThE FaUX-Mo...

Abe begged me to let him cut his hair this way. I figured it was okay because the next hair cut is the buzz... Doesn't he look proud?
A side view of my very handsome Suger Baby! He turns 6 in a couple of weeks and I can't believe it. Where did the time go?

Some of my Favorites

Just a little tubby time!
Nannie and Gilbert!
Gwyn in her darling outfit!
Gilly Bear!! ummmmm!

Cousins and Cousins and More Cousins

Gil and my cousin Landon are 2 weeks apart. Cute boys huh?
My Aunt Terri and I had baby girls a few months apart Alyssa is 2 months older than Gwynnie and then we had baby boys a couple weeks apart. It seems odd that they are my cousins...I just tell my kids that they are their cousins. (Don't you love that they both had to have their baby dolls. Gwyn's maybe an Asian baby...just a little shout out to SJM.)
Gilbert and Gabi. She is only four weeks younger than Gil, don't worry he doubles her. Okay is she not just beautiful? Really, I think she maybe one of the prettiest baby girls I have ever seen.
Kate Mitchell....Wow. My niece Kate is beautiful and a model (for real) but the best thing about Kate is that she is as pretty on the inside as she is on the outside. Gwyn thinks the sun sets around Kate. She has said her name since she was 12 months and she squeals in delight when Kate walks in a room. Kate will take Gwyn for hours and entertain her. I love this little niece of mine.

Day Break

On St. Patrick's day we went to visit Brad and Vanessa up at their place in DayBreak. It is the cutest little community. We walked around and played at a park that was very near their home. Brad FINALLY got to play a little B-ball with Bob and it seemed to calm the fire for awhile. This is a picture of Tuck, Brad and Bob playing around. Three of my very favorite boys in the whole world! I am a little unhappy with my brother though because he will never come to see me. I mean I beg him and he just tells me he is to busy and has more important things to do. So I will continue to beg and not let Bob play b-ball with him until he comes here.
Abe and Gwyn playing at the park... a little tickle torture.
Gwynnie loved Gabi... a baby girl!!
Gabi and Gil dressed for St. Patricks day!
We had so much fun visiting them and I have to say that if we had to move to SLC I would choose to live out at DayBreak! I think the homes are so cute and the community is really nice. A big discussion always with my siblings is where it is better to live. Stupid, I know! But I am totally a Utah County girl. My sisters have all decided SLC is better... Brad also thinks SLC is better. What is wrong with them? Bob and I are both from UC and when we think of ever moving back it is to UC. Anyway silly discussion but I admit it, I love where I grew up!

Jude Love

Kennan and her family came to visit us down here in SG. Gwynnie just LOVES her cousin Jude. I am afraid it might not be reciprocated yet, he would get a little bugged when she would push him around...I don't know why:) Although he did let her wash him in the bath tub. He was a very good sport.
More Washing!
Jude and Gwynnie sharing an apple.
Tucker and Abe were quite proud to be showing their little boy cousin around to their friends. They were even more proud to be showing off their Aunt Kennan to their friends. She was beating all the little neighbor boys in cartwheel contests. They also may have scored a few soccer goals on her. They came to the door later and asked if Tucker's Aunt could play football with them. Seriously, who can compete with that kind of Aunt.

Dr. Suess and Uncle Brad!

Abe would tell you that today is Dr.Seuss's birthday and Uncle Brad's birthday. (for years he would tell you his name was Abe'ham Uncle Brad Lamawoe) So today the boys wore their Cat in the Hat hat's to school, and thought about Uncle Brad while they wore them.
The Boy's
Happy Birthday big brother! You've been an awesome brother and friend. Hope this year is great for you.

Look Who's Sitting!

Gil has taken to sitting! After about two weeks of crying and wanting to be held we figured out what would make this little man happy. Sitting. He is tired of laying around not being apart of our busy world. This last weekend just before he turns 6 months he is sitting!
He really thinks his kicking gym is great from this angle.
Cutie boy!
