Bob's journal entry soon after Tucker's birth:
"It was simply amazing when his little blue body came out. I could not believe how big he was when the head had finally popped out. I instantly fell in love with his little whimpering voice, and I could not hold back my tears. I was very emotional, and it was so much fun to have this person, who was just an idea, finally be a reality......I was also happy that this step was all over because it had taken over twenty hours!"
My journal entry right before his birth:
"....I can't wait to watch you grow. I want to play with you. I want to throw snowballs, and build snowmen, and fish with you. I want to be friends with you. I want to watch you play ball with your dad. I want to see you hunt with your dad. I want you to see what a good man should be like. I want you to be an honest and loving, child, teenager, and man."
When we brought Tucker home from the hospital Bob was worried about Tuck sleeping by himself. I thought he was probably right so Tuck slept right in between the two of us, and there he slept until he was 3 yrs old. Truth be told he still tries to come and sleep right in between us nightly...it's not as cute anymore.

This boy was the happiest little baby. He was and still is very busy but his temperament was so kind and sweet. He is very much like his dad.
He has a very tender heart and at age one he would cry when balloons would fly away or pop. By the time he was 3 he couldn't watch the
Prince of Egypt because it made him to sad to watch baby Moses leaving his mother and floating down the river.
Tuck came out loving the water, at two weeks of age you could put him in the bath and he would get his legs kicking so hard that you would think he was trying to swim away. Being that he was my first baby I had no idea this wasn't the norm. I have never had a baby since that has done that.
(Tuck's 1st Birthday)
Tucker came out with one huge dimple on his right cheek. I know when he is really happy, because that dimple is really prominent.
When Abe was born Tucker didn't seem to mind at all. He was ALWAYS gentle to his baby brother. He liked to hold him sometimes but really he just liked to know he was in the room with us. They were buddies.

When Tucker learned to talk he talked fast...really fast and high. He couldn't say his "s" and we loved to hear him say anything that needed "s"es in them.

When the mail would come he would watch for any kind of magazines, he thought that they were books just sent to him.

Tucker eats more healthy than any other kid I know. His idea of a treat would be a vegetable platter. We had a garden in our PG house and his favorite treat was to eat tomatoes right off the vine.

First little people, and then trains, and then BOB THE BUILDER! His love for Bob the Builder made us laugh. In the car he would name every tractor or building machine he could see. He would talk non-stop. Once when my mom was with me, I told her just to ignore the incessant talking and that he would eventually fall asleep. She thought that that was mean, but she soon learned it was the only way to get him to sleep. The boy who slept so little.

Tucker has a great love for his Papa Lyle and his garden. When ever Tuck visits they check the garden to see what they might be able to find. Potatoes are really fun to dig up, and he wouldn't mind digging for them all day.

Tucker and Hunter are a year apart, but they are the best of friends. Cousins are really important to Tucker. Someone, somewhere instilled in Tucker a love and intense devotion to his family. He once asked if Nannie (Grandma Williams) could be a
Lamoreaux too. I think for a time Tucker really truly believed that Aunt Kennan was and would always be his very best friend.

Tucker could swim very well at a young age....like I said it came really naturally to him. This is him at the age of three.

When I lost my third baby Tucker was over at his friends
Dax's house. We picked them up and told Tuck and Abe that our baby had died in my tummy. Tucker asked how and Bob explained that the babies heart beat had gone away. Later that day when we were dropping him off at
Dax's again (I had another ultra sound) he said to me, "mom, I think the Doctors are wrong and that they will find our baby's heartbeat again, I just know it." As much as Bob and I knew that this was not true, we wanted to believe because he did so much.

Tucker is tough, the neighbor kids are all older than him, and yet he is the one they want on their team. Nick his buddy always talks about how he can take a hit like none of the other kids. He hates to be apart of any contention and will always try to be the peace maker. He is passionate about, sports, science, math, reading, and his
Wii. you start talking Pokemon and he will chat with you for hours.

Tucker and Abe are quite the duo. I often say that if Abe had come first things would be really different at our house. That is not to say that Tucker doesn't tease Abe because he really does. But he loves his little brother. When Bob's brother Tim died, Tucker was so sad. The night we found out, Bob went to work to get things ready for us to be gone for a while. Also he was trying to grieve in his own way, take a little time to wrap his brain around what had just happened. Tucker could not fall asleep that night, and he just kept on crying. He told me he was waiting for Dad to get home. When he finally got home Tucker told us what his tears were for. His tears were for dad, because he thought how sad he would have been to lose his brother, and that made him so sad for dad.
I cannot believe my baby is eight. He is my pride and joy. I am so grateful he is ours. I am proud of him everyday. You are everything I hoped you would be and more. Thank you for being such a good boy. I need time to slow down a bit, I'm not quite ready for the next eight to go as fast as the last eight. Happy Birthday to my very handsome boy. We love you Boo!
