Basketball Jones.....
Our team was undefeated which was really hard seeing that they had 6 games 2 of which were practice games! My funny story about basketball is this..Bob told Tucker that as part of his jobs after school shooting 10 baskets and dribbling around Julie Drive needed to happen everyday. I laughed and thought "yeah who's going to enforce that? Not me." So everyday after Tucker finishes his reading, on his own he will go get his basketball and go do his chores. He is very disciplined for being 7 years old. He never complained and told me he liked it. So he actually did very well this little season and his dribbling had improved greatly! I am so in love with this little man. I couldn't ask for a nicer guy.

The Stomach Flu
He was the sickest of the three. Gwyn started the flu then it passed on to Tucker, then a few days later it hit Abraham. Luckily, little Gilbert didn't get it.

January Blues I Guess....
There was a time that my boys loved if I would spend a whole day just playing with them. There was a time I was the friend. I don't know where the time went. It seems that last christmas they were to young to do things and now I wonder if I have waited to long. This makes me sad. I have never wished for my kids to grow up sooner. How did I miss some of the growing up. Maybe being pregnant the last 2 or more years? School starting? What was the change? They are good boys and I am proud of them, but I miss them. Don't get me wrong I love the changes and our conversations and how much they are learning.
I love when Tucker comes home from school and hugs me and tells me his day was "great" in his very enthusiastic voice. I love that he is always willing to help me and he is great at cleaning up. I love that he asked us if we would pay him if he bore his testimony last Sunday. I love that he is so sweet to his little sister and hugs and kisses her every chance he gets. I love that at any moment she wants a ride in the wagon or in the jeep he will take her and do it with all of his kindness. I love that my 7 year old still wants to snuggle me for now....
I also love when I pick Abe up from school he wants to tell me all about his day and who in class got color changes . I love that he will sit by Gil and talk and coo with him for hours. I love that he has such crazy things to say sometimes I can't help but laugh IE: He told Geena and Boom "I will pay you a dollar if you will suck your blood" and then rode a way on his bike sobbing because they told me he made this offer. (I wasn't even mad, just amused.) I love that I had to bribe him to learn to ride his two-wheeler or Santa wouldn't give him his jeep, so he jumped on it and started riding it. I mostly love that he hardly ever wants to drive his jeep but wants to ride his bike all the time.
I guess I am really mostly sad that I am not their everything anymore. I miss my little boys.

Dear Mom......
Mom this one is for you! I pulled out my Halloween costume from 26 years ago and my daughter had to have it on. She loved the tights. She also loves the "danc-a" as she calls it. She is being ever so gentle with it.
Mom you are the best. I remember putting on all your old dresses and night gowns growing up and all I can think is how great my childhood was and how much fun I had. I remember always being with you and how you always made what I did and do feel important. I can only hope for the same kind of relationship with my sweet girl.

Christmas Day!!
Dad and Cubby in their Sweat Suits!
After a very long night, Christmas arrives!!!!
Nannie's present to number 3 was a Sweet Sara doll. She loved her so much. She calls her just "dolly". Which is different than her baby dolls that she calls "baby".
